ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to file Charge Sheet/final report in Crime No.447 of 2016 within a time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner lodged a complaint as against his own brother and the same was registered in Crime No.447 of 2016 for the alleged offences under Sections 420, 468 and 471 of I.P.C.

4. Having regard to the facts stated in this petition and the relationship between the petitioner and the proposed accused, this Court is of the view that there is a prima facie case and the investigation in this case ought to have been completed long back. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, this Court is inclined to allow this Criminal Original petition. As a result, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.447 of 2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
