JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.S.RAMESH, J.) Challenging the order of the writ Court dated 10.10.2024 in WP(MD) No.21679/2023, the appellant is before this Court with this writ appeal.
2. There was a law and order problem with regard to the lease of the temple land in S.No.1332 to an extent of 2.43 Ares in favour of the appellant herein and a peace committee meeting was also held, the appellant herein had sought for implementation of the decision taken in the peace committee held on 16.03.2023 in the writ petition filed in WP(MD) No.21679/2023 and by order dated 10.10.2023, the learned Single Judge had recorded that no alternative land can be given to the petitioner since lands were not available and therefore, directed the 2/5
respondents to return the lease amount paid by the appellant herein. The present appeal has been filed against the order passed in the writ petition.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader had submitted that pending appeal, the entire lease amount of Rs.1,94,000/- as ordered by the writ Court was received by the appellant herein on 07.11.2024 through a cheque and produced a copy of acknowledgment given by the appellant herein.
4. Though the appellant has raised several grounds challenging the order of the writ Court, he had now accepted the refund of the lease amount paid by him and therefore, the grounds raised in the present writ appeal do not deserve consideration. Accordingly, the writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs.
