This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to ensure that the villagers collect the tax from the petitioner and his relatives and permit them to participate in Nallur Bhagavathi Mariamman Temple Festival, Nallur, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, to be held on 20.03.2022 on par with the other villagers.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that already the celebration is over, however, for future celebration, if the villagers prevent the petitioner and his relatives, liberty may be given to the petitioner to make appropriate representation before the Authority.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation before the Authority, if he is prevented from participating in the future celebration by the villagers.
