JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The writ appeal is directed against the order of the writ Court dated 16.04.2024 in WP(MD). No. 910/2022.

2. The private respondent in the writ petition is the appellant herein.

3. In the last occasion, when the appeal was listed on 27.03.2025, it was represented that the parties are willing to settle the matter amicably by paying Rs.7,50,000/-. Therefore, this Court directed the appellant to pay the said amount through demand draft to the first respondent.

4. When the writ appeal was taken up for hearing today, the appellant had produced the demand draft for a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- 2/4

drawn in favour of the 1st respondent, which has been received by the first respondent also and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

5. Accordingly, as the matter has been settled out of Court, the writ appeal is disposed of. However, the parties are at liberty to compromise the criminal case also. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
