This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 02.04.2018.

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation to the first respondent on 31.03.2018 and 02.04.2018 for taking action against the proposed accused namely Thiru.Iyyappan, Inspector of Police, Alangulam, Thiru.Palani, Sub Inspector of Police, Alangulam, Thiru.Muthukumar, Police Constable, Alangulam Police Station and Thiru.Balasubramanian, Police Constable, Alangulam Police Station, no action has been taken by the respondent police and hence, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents on instructions submitted that if any such representation is pending, the first respondent will consider the said representation and pass order in accordance with law. 4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 02.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
