PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2021 and grant time scale salary with all monetary benefits from the dated of the petitioner appointment of 01.10.1993 based on the GO.MS.No.247, School Education (AA1) Department, dated 03.10.2012.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2021 and grant time scale salary with all monetary benefits from the date of her appointment ie., from 01.10.1993.

2. Heard Mr.P.Muthusamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Mr.P.Muthusamy, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2021.

4. Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2021 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 10.08.2021 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
