ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for expeditious disposal of RLTOP No.6 of 2026 pending on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai.

2.The Civil Revision Petitioner claims to be the landlord. He has filed RLTOP No.6 of 2026 invoking Section 21(2)(a), 21(2)(e) and 21(2)(f) of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilites of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2019. Considering the plea of the petitioner that he is a senior citizen, I called for a report from the learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai.

3.In compliance with the direction, the learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai sent a report stating that the respondent has entered appearance through his advocate on 10.02.2026 and the matter is listed for filing of counter on 10.03.2026. The learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai shall expedite the hearing and ensure that RLTOP No.6 of 2026 is disposed of within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
