This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 27.09.2017 in CSR No.643 of 2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner gave a statement before the respondent police on 27.09.2017 stating that he will approach the competent Civil Court to settle the issue.

3. In view of the aforesaid statement of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
