O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the Respondents 3 to 7. 2.According to the petitioner, there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents in respect of the property in S.No. 72/26. Originally the property belongs to the petitioner but the private respondents very often interfered with possession of the property and caused trouble. Already on 19.03.2023, the private respondents have extorted the petitioner, for which complaint was lodged before the second

respondent and the same was closed without registering an FIR. Again, now, the private respondents are causing life threat to the petitioner. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner lodged the complaint before the second respondent, for which enquiry was conducted and on 19.02.2025, the private respondents have appeared for enquiry but the petitioner has not appeared. However, the respondent police will complete the enquiry within one week.

4.The learned Counsel for the private respondents 3 to 7 would submit that there is a property dispute between the parties and thereby, the petitioner lodged the false complaint, however, the private respondents have appeared before the respondent police for enquiry. 5.Since the second respondent has admitted the pendency of the petitioner's complaint, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry, within a period of one week from the date of this order in accordance with law.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
