ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner praying to call for the records relating to Crime No.159 of 2014 dated 22.05.2014 on the file of Kayathar Police Station, Kayathar.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) for the respondents.
3. The petition has been filed as against the alleged offences under sections 294(b), 332, 353, 323 and 506(ii)IPC in Crime No.159 of 2014 dated 22.05.2014, registered on the file of first respondent police as against the petitioner. According to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the defacto complainant, he went to the place to take action, when the petitioner and others were gambling by playing cards. At that time, the petitioner and others attacked the defacto complainant.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the defacto complainant has registered a false case as against the petitioner.
5. Since, the allegation against the petitioner makes the commission of cognizable offence, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR in Crime No.159 of 2014 dated 22.05.2014, Hence, this petition is disposed of. The respondents are directed to complete the investigation within a period of two months. This Court is directing the Superintendent of Police to supervise the investigation.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
