This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 12.04.2017.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No. 100 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Sections 294 (b), 506(ii), 279 IPC on the file of the second respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.
