ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.3 in Crime No.1 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, was arrested on 14.03.2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 420 and 406 of I.P.C., and hence, seeks bail.

2. According to the de-facto complainant, the accused 1 and 2 have collected money from various persons assuring employment in Madras High Court.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the first accused and he was implicated only on his confession stating that the first accused had purchased property in the name of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner is in incarceration for more than 87 days and the accused 1 and 2 were granted interim bail to settle the amount with the de-facto complainant/victim.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) vehemently opposed the bail petition contending that the offences committed by the accused are very serious in nature and the investigation is at the initial stage.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has been in judicial custody for more than 87 days and the accused 1 and 2 were already granted interim bail to settle the dispute with the alleged victims, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kulithalai, Karur District and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily twice at 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. until further orders. sd/- 09/06/2015 / TRUE COPY / https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
