************ This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 2nd respondent from granting permission to conduct the Kabadi Match at "Amman Kovil Thidal" Alangudipatti, Puliyoor Post, Kulatthoor Taluk, Pudukottai District scheduled to be held on 20.04.2018.

2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the previous years, some untoward incidences were reported and hence, the villagers took a decision that they would not conduct Kabadi hereafter. Therefore, if any permission is granted, it would create law and order problem in the said village. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.Under such circumstances, this Court cannot go into the

merits of the case. However, it is open to the petitioner to make his objections before the second respondent Police. If any such objection is received, the respondent Police shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 19.04.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
