O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the parties namely, the petitioners and the defacto complainant are present before this Court.

2. The petitioners have been arrayed as accused in C.C.No.87 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(i) IPC. 3.Both parties submitted that the matter has been settled. The presence of the parties is also recorded. The joint compromise memo has been signed by the parties and attested by the learned counsel on both sides, wherein it has stated that the respondent NO.2 praying to quash the charges.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the State and the learned

counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4. This Court has also perused the compromise memo.

5.Considering the submissions made and after going through the relevant documents including the offences alleged against the petitioners, this Court is inclined to quash the proceedings as no useful purpose would be served by continuing the trail any longer. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.87 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, is quashed. The compromise memo shall form part of record. This petition is ordered.

6. Since the amendment petition in M.P.(MD) No.1 of 2015 is ordered, the Registry is directed to amend the cause title and prayer as prayed for before issuing the order copy.
