ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to comply with the proceedings of the first respondent, dated 05.08.2024.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

3. The petitioner states that he noticed a mistake in the FMB sketch and sought for corrections by way of issuance of lawyers notice on 27.07.2024 as well as the representation to the District Revenue Officer on 29.07.2024. The petitioner also filed a civil suit in O.S.No.283 of 2024, which is pending on the file of the Principal Sub Court, Pudukkottai.

Considering that the petitioner has already made a representation on 29.07.2024 to the District Revenue Officer seeking rectification of the error in the FMB, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on merits, in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.07.2024 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
