This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to to direct the Inspector of Police, Vasudevanallur Police Station, Tirunelveli District the R2 herein, to expedite the investigation in Crime No. 59 of 2019 pending on his file and further direct him to complete the same and to file the final report within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No.59 of 2019 and file final report as Mistake of Fact on 29.06.2019.
