To call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.80 of 2022 on the file of the District Crime Branch Police, Nagercoil and quash the same as against the petitioner who is 1st accused as the case is abuse of process of law. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.TITUS.S, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.SURESH KUMAR, Government Advocate (Crl. side) on behalf of the Respondent No.1, the court made the following order:- Today, this petition has been listed for clarification. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the FIR in Crime No.80 of 2022, which the petitioner sought to quash, was closed as mistake of fact.

By the order dated 13.03.2023, the production of certified copy of the above said FIR for filing the petition seeking quashment of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.4030 of 2023 the same was ordered to dispense with.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further process is required in this matter.
