This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry and not to interfere into the civil disputes.

2. Heard Mr.M.Solaisamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.Durai Pandian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. On perusal of the petition averments and the earlier order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.12364 of 2017 dated 21.09.2017, it is seen that there is a pendency of money dispute between the petitioners and one Josephraj and Vimala Josephraj. It is not for the respondent police to interfere in the civil dispute, unless a cognizable offence is made out.
