The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent herein to register an F.I.R., on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 21.11.2016.

2.A reading of the complaint would show that the petitioner has given a signed cheque to the proposed accused. It is his complaint that the proposed accused had inflated the figures and filled up the cheque accordingly. I am of the view that the drawer of the cheque, the petitioner, in order to avoid the consequences that may flow out of dishonor of the cheque issued by him, has come with the complaint.
