Defendant Nos.1 to 4 PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to grant an order of direction to the III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli, to expedite the proceeding in O.S.No.293 of 2020 and complete the proceedings within a period stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The plaintiff in O.S.No.293 of 2020, on the file of the III Additional Additional District and Sessions Court, Tiruchirappalli, has filed the present revision petition seeking expeditious disposal of the suit. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the revision petitioners, the suit has been filed for the relief of specific performance or in the alternative for refund of the advance amount. According to him, the defendants were set ex-parte on 08.03.2024, and it was posted for ex-parte evidence. 3.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the revision petitioners, ex-parte evidence has already been let in and it is posted for arguments from 10.04.2024, onwards. He further submits that so far, the defendants have not filed any application to set aside the ex-parte order. In such circumstances, the plaintiff seeks expeditious disposal of the suit. 4.Considering the above said facts, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit on or before 30.06.2025, in case, if no application is filed by the defendants in the mean time, for setting aside the ex-parte order. 2/4

5.With the above said observations, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
