Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conduct the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1620/2020/B, dated 01.10.2021, to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in S.F.No.57/5, to extent of 3 cents, dwelling house, situated at Thanisiyam Main Road, K.Gandhigramam, Kallanai, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District.

*********** This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal pending on the file of the first respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Aggrieved by the rejection of the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for the property comprised in S.F.No.57/5 measuring an extent of 3 cents situated at Thanisiyam Main Road, K.Gandhigramam, Kallanai, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, the petitioner has preferred the statutory appeal before the first respondent. The first respondent has also initiated proceedings in the said statutory appeal in Na.Ka.No.1620/2020/B, dated 01.10.2021. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the said statutory appeal.

W.P.[MD]No.4930 of 2022 3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner is disposed of expeditiously within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal filed as against the order passed by the second respondent rejecting the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for the aforementioned property after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other necessary parties whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire within a period of three [3] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
