ORDER
The present petition is filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of an enquiry.
2.The main grievance of the petitioners is that though no complaint is pending against the present petitioners, the respondents/police, are frequently calling the petitioners to go over to the Elayirampannai Police Station, Virudhunagar District. 3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that based on the past criminal records of the present petitioners, a recommendation was made to the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer for initiation of the proceedings under Section 110 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and that the police did not harass the petitioners.
