PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection for petitioner's life, limb and his property on the basis of his representation dated 17.12.2014. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection for petitioner's life, limb and his property on the basis of his representation dated 17.12.2014.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), on instructions, submitted that no request has been made by the petitioner on 17.12.2014 in writing.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is permitted to appear before the respondent No.2 on 16.06.2015 along with his representation and after receipt of the same, the said Authority is directed to conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action in the manner known to law.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
