O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to conclude the investigation and file a charge sheet in Crime No.786 of 2016 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The case was registered in Crime No.786 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 109, 420, 166A, 323 and 506(i) of IPC. Though the case was registered on 12.11.2016, it is stated that there is no further progress and that therefore, the petitioner is constrained to file this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and that the final report is likely to be filed within a period of three months.

4. Recording the said submission, the above Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report in Crime No.786 of 2016, before the jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
