PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to expedite the trial and direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Padmanabhapuram to dispose C.C.No.206 of 2018 pending on its file within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court For Petitioner : Mr.N.Dilip Kumar For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Padmanabhapuram to dispose C.C.No.206 of 2018 pending on its file within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Padmanabhapuram to dispose the case pending in CC No. 206 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on hall hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
