ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.03.2022 and provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her husband and family members of the petitioner's husband in accordance with law.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, who is aged about 22 years, fell in love with the boy belonged to Islam Religion, aged about below 21 years. Therefore, they could not able to register their marriage, though they got married. While being so, the petitioner was kidnapped by the maternal uncle and thereafter, she escaped from the custody and now joined with the person, who fell in love. That apart, now she is apprehending threat from some organisation of the Hindu Religion. They are also facing life threat from them.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that the respondents 3 and 4 have no objection to get marry with the person, who got love affair with the petitioner herein.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that on the complaint received from the petitioner, it was enquired and closed as early as on 01.04.2022 itself. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner vehemently contended that there is a life threat from the other religious organisation, since the petitioner fell in love with other religion person and got married. 5.Considering the above submission, the second respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner on her request whenever necessary.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
