The petitioners are figuring as accused in Crime No.4 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent herein, for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323, 406, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2.The defacto complainant R.Pavithra is present in person before me. She is identified by her counsel also. She has no objection for quashing the impugned prosecution. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4462 of 2020 returned and the parties have decided to amicably dissolve the marriage by mutual consent. Therefore, there is no point in keeping the FIR alive.
