PRAYER:- For Bail in Crime No.1 of 2023 on the file of the respondent herein. ORDER:- The Court made the following order:- The petitioner is Accused No.7, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.01.2023, for the offences punishable under Section 8(C) r/w 20(b)(II (C)), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act and Section 468, 471 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.1 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that the Inspector of Police stated to have received secret information on 07.01.2023 with regard to the transporting Ganja. Therefore, she along with her Subordinates with equipment proceeded towards Avanam Kaikkatti to Peravoorani Road, where they stated to have nabbed A1 and who were found in possession of196 Kg. of Ganja. Hence the case.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that 18 witnesses have been examined and remaining witnesses are going to be examined. Already a direction was issued by this Court to expedite the process.

4. Let the petitioner approach the concerned Court with the request for bail. He can move appropriate application for appropriate relief, without approaching this Court repeatedly.
