ORDER

Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that based on the petitioner's application for cancellation of patta issued to the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent has already commenced enquiry and issued notice to the interested parties.

3. He would further submit that the next date of enquiry stated to be held on 13.03.2025.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to conclude the enquiry within a period of eight weeks from 13.03.2025, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the 2nd respondent.

5. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
