O R D E R

This petition is filed to transfer the case in Crime No.652 of 2017 from the 2nd respondent to 3rd respondent or any other agency for investigation.

2. The petitioner states that one Vasudevan along with 10 others trespassed into her house and attacked the petitioner and his family members. It is stated that a gold chain was snatched away from the petitioner and that Mahendira Diesel Car was also taken away from her house. It is stated that the case was registered on 20.10.2017 and there was no further progress.

3. From the facts narrated by the petitioner in the petition it can be seen that the complaint was lodged only on 20.10.2017. The petitioner has not stated any lapse on the part of the respondent in the course of investigation. It is too early to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conclude that the respondent police will not properly investigate the matter and file a report.

4. In the circumstances, this Court does not find any other reason to transfer the investigation from 2nd respondent to third respondent. However, having regard to the nature of allegations made in the petition, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct the investigation in Crime No.652 of 2017 under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cantonment, Trichy.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
