RESPONDENTS Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Honourable Court in the order dated 14.03.2018 passed in Crl.OP(MD)No. 3339/2018 directing him to appear before the respondent police daily at 10 A.M Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.T.R.JEYAPALAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.M.ANANTHA DEVI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent no.1 the court made the following order:- The petitioner seeks to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in the order of this Court, dated 14.03.2018, in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3339 of 2018 i.e., directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side).
3. The petitioner seeks modification of one of the conditions imposed by this Court i.e., directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m.. In paragraph No.4 of the petition, the petitioner had stated that, ''he does not want to face and appear before the respondent police''. cannot choose before whom he shall appear. The direction to appear is given to facilitate investigation. It is only the respondent who has to investigate into the matter. Therefore, the request of the petitioner cannot be accepted.
