O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 09.10.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused namely, Ravikumar, has purchased rice to the value of Rs.8,33,113/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs Thirty Three Thousand One Hundred and Thirteen only) from the petitioner and thereafter, he did not pay the amount and hence, a complaint has been lodged before the second respondent on 09.10.2017, but, no action has been taken. He also submitted that the petitioner has sent relevant documents through Registered Post on 05.12.2017. Even thereafter, no steps being taken to enquire the matter and register a case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent has to register the case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5.With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
