Heard both sides.
2. The writ petitioner's husband died due to electrocution. In this regard, Crime No.307/2019 was registered by the local police. The petitioner seeks compensation from the respondents. In such circumstances, this Court would call upon the TANGEDCO to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- and relegate the petitioner to go before the civil Court for enhanced compensation. Such an approach cannot be adopted in this case. This is because, the petitioner's husband as a cable operator had invited the accident. From the materials on record, I am not able to fasten any kind of liability on the respondents. It is for the petitioner to move the jurisdictional civil Court for appropriate relief. 3.Granting such liberty, the writ petition is dismissed.
