PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.42/2019 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is facing a case for the offence under Section 392 IPC in S.C.No.104 of 2019 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai in Crime No.42 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 26.06.2019, while the de-facto complainant was returning from his agricultural field, two persons stopped him and enquired him about short route for viralimalai and all of a sudden, they threatened him with knife and robbed his chain and also escaped from the place of occurrence. Hence, the case came to be registered

3. It is seen that the petitioner is a habitual offender and against him 24 previous cases pending and if he is released on bail he will not appear before the trial Court in future. That apart even after dismissal of the earlier petition on 22.12.2022, there is no change in circumstances to consider the present petition. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

4. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
