(In all Writ Petitions) For Petitioners : Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu For R-1 and R-2 : Mr.S.Arivalagan, Standing Counsel COMMON ORDER The Writ Petitions have been filed for Mandamus directing the first and second respondent to extend the benefit of Government 07.01.2022 in the case of the petitioners for re-designation as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) based on the representation of the petitioners dated 05.03.2021, 15.03.2021, 05.03.2021 and 05.03.2021 respectively.
2. The contention of the petitioners are that they had obtained B.E., degree in Vinayaka Missions University. The degree was issued by the said Vinayaka Mission University was validated by AICTE-UGC by conducting special examination. The petitioners have participated in the said special examination and has obtained certificate. The said certificate is issued for the special examination conducted on 06.06.2018.
3. This Court without expressing any opinion on the entire issue is directing the first and second respondents to consider the petitioners representations read with the certificate issued by the AICTE-UGC special examination in the light of G.O.Ms.No.270 Higher Education (J1) Department dated 03.12.2019 and G.O.Ms.No.4 Higher Education (J1) Department dated 07.01.2022 and also in the light of Writ Appeal in W.A.No.681 of 2020 dated 23.12.2021. The respondents are directed to consider and pass orders within a period of eight
(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With this direction, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
