Respondents P RAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct survey and fix boundaries of petitioner's Punja land which is situated in Survey No. 136/6D2 ad measures about 0.3.80 Acres located at Alankampatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District based on petitioner's representation as well as fee remittance dated on 20.01.2025 to the 1st respondent and thereby directing the 2nd respondent to conduct survey the land within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has sought for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct survey and fix four boundaries of the petitioner's property.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, with the consent of learned counsel on either sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 4.The petitioner having purchased the subject property on 13.04.1993 and subsequently also having successfully mutated patta in his name in Patta No.4832, has sought for survey of the property by making necessary application on 20.01.2025. The petitioner seeks disposal of the said application expeditiously. 2/4

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner has made proper application for survey on 20.01.2025, the respondents shall conduct survey based on the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
