ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the official respondents to disqualify the private respondents, viz., respondents 5 to 12 from the membership of the Vellicode Y-96, Primary Agricultural Co-operative Society, Kanyakumari District.

2. The prayer, as such, sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Admittedly, the private respondents have been elected. Thus, the only remedy that is now open to the petitioner is to approach the first respondent, viz., Registrar of Co-operative Societies, under Section 90 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.

3. With the above observations, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Registrar of Co-operative Societies. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
