ORDER

The writ petition is filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer the electricity service connection (S.C.No.207) into the name of the petitioner by getting the name transfer form from the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's replacement dated 04.03.2020.

2.In the said representation, the petitioner had stated that he is residing in 1-7-3(1), Aladipatti 7th Street, Surandai, along with his family members. He had purchased a property from one Muthuduraichi by sale deed registered by Document No.115 /2020 in the office of the Sub-Registrar Office, Uthumalai in Tenkasi District. It is stated that the property has a 3 HB Electric motor. He has also obtained patta No.1016 for the property. He has sought transfer of the electricity connection in his name. 4.The learned counsel for the respondents stated that if a proper application is given enclosing document in the name of the petitioner viz., M.Kannan Raja, then the respondents would process the application.

5.Accordingly, a direction is issued to the petitioner to, in the first place, give a proper application form along with the relevant document showing title in his name viz., M.Kannan Raja and on receipt of such application form, the respondents may process the same, if they are otherwise in order and transfer the electricity connection to the name of the petitioner. If the petitioner submits his application form along with relevant document on or before 31.03.2020, then the respondents after following due process may transfer the service connection in the name of the petitioner or or before 15.05.2020.

6.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
