ORDER
This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District, Tirunelveli, the third respondent herein not to harass the petitioners by forcing them to seek apology and to express sorry to the sixth respondent in a public meeting to be fixed by the third respondent at Keelapandarakulam Village, Kilavaneri Post, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Tirunelveli District.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 5.
3. The prayer in this petition narrates the facts to some extent. It is stated that the petitioners are being harassed by the third respondent and that the said harassment is to compel the petitioners to seek apology.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the complaint that was lodged as against the petitioners was closed as "Mistake of Fact" and that for the said reason, he further submitted that no further enquiry is contemplated.
5. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original petition is closed.
