ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenue namely, Velappan, S/o.Venkidusamy, aged about 55 years, brother of the petitioner from the illegal custody of the respondents 3 to 6 before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.The petitioner has lodged a complaint alleging that his brother is missing. On receipt of the said complaint the second respondent issued CSR No.61 of 2020. However, so far no case has been registered.

Crl.O.P(MD)No.4501 of 2020 3.Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to register an FIR on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and proceed the investigation and complete the same within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
