This application is filed seeking for a direction, directing the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.331 of 2017, dated 02.12.2017.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after due investigation, the respondent police closed the complaint as "further action dropped" on 15.12.2017.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The second respondent is directed to serve the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already given. On receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to seek legal remedy in accordance with law.
