Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.JEGADEESH PANDIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Trichirappalli, Special Court for Mines and Minerals Act, 1957, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3537 of 2022 dated 22.02.2022.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the learned Sessions Judge concerned and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.
