This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to direct the second respondent police herein not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry by the complaint lodged by the third respondent on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 05.02.2025.
2.According to the petitioner, based on the third respondent's complaint, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner. Therefore, he sent a representation, dated 05.02.2025, but the same was not considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is the husband of the third respondent and she lodged a complaint against the petitioner. 2/5
Based on the same, enquiry has been conducted and an FIR in Crime No. 7 of 2025 has been registered. Therefore, the second respondent called the petitioner for enquiry, but he has not appeared. He would further submit that the respondent police has not harassed the petitioner as alleged by him.
4.Since the FIR in Crime No.7 of 2025 has been registered against the petitioner and the second respondent has called the petitioner for enquiry, it is for the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 28.02.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
