This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.119/2015 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), on instructions, submitted that there are two cases registered, namely, Crime Nos.118/2015 and 119/2015 and that investigation in Crime No.118/2015 was completed and chargesheet has been filed in PRC NO.29/2016 before the Judicial Magistrate, Melur, but, whereas investigation in Crime No.119/2015 is pending.

4. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.119/2015 expeditiously.
