ORDER

The petitioner is a Secretary of the second respondent Society. He has filed this writ petition challenging the surcharge notice issued by the first respondent, under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.3198/2020 Sa.Pa., Dated 13.01.2021.

2. Today, when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submit that the surcharge proceedings was completed and culminated in the order of punishment of dismissal from service and subsequently, the petitioner was also removed from service. A copy of the dismissal order 2/4

dated 05.04.2023 is produced before this Court.

4. In view of the said submissions, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 03.12.2024 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
