This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 6 to conduct 'Collective Forming Scheme' in proper manner in order to Promotion of Collective Farming by organizing Small and Marginal Farmers into farmers Interest Groups (FIG) federated in Farmers Producer Groups (FPG) as per the G.O.(MS).No.214, dated 20.08.2018 and consequently, direct to further steps for improvement of the same Scheme for increasing the Agriculture produces by same farmers Groups within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, appearing for respondents 1 to 6, submitted that the 'Collective Forming Scheme' had lapsed and is no longer in force. He further submitted that, however, if the petitioner submits a representation, the same will be considered and disposed of in relation to any future schemes.
