This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1032 of 2016, dated 18.11.2016 on the file of the respondent.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by him, the respondent police registered the First Information Report in Crime No.1032 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(ii) IPC r/w 109 of IPC against the accused persons and so far final report has not been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, investigation has completed and Final Report has been filed on 20.03.2023 in C.N.R.No.TNMD160004252023 before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, but it was not taken on file so far.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, to process the above said Final Report within the time stipulated as per rules. If the petitioner is aggrieved over the content of the Final Report, he can workout the remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
