RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Criminal Original Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to release the petitioner on Interim Bail for two months in C.C No. 962 of 2023 on the file of the Honble Principal Special Judge for NDPS Act cases, Madurai in Cr. No. 202 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : This Criminal Original Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.J.SELVAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.B.NAMBISELVAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking interim bail in C.C.No.962 of 2023 on the file of the Principal Special Court for NDS Act Cases, Madurai in Cr.No.202 of 2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was detained under Act 14 of 1982. Now she is suffering from severe lower abdomen pain 1/3

and she is a chronic diabetic patient. When she was admitted as inpatient at Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai, she was suspected to be a cancer patient at initial stage, for which, other tests were recommended. If she is released on interim bail for two months, she will be treated better.

3. The medical report, dated 12.03.2024 was produced before this Court, in which, it has been stated that there is no severe complaints on the petitioner and she is stable now.

4. In view of the above, this petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh interim bail application, if any illness continued in future.

5. Further, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor shall get opinion from the concerned prison's Doctor.
