Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner wants the encroachment in the petition-mentioned survey number to be cleared. The learned Special Government Pleader confirms that survey No.394/12 in Keeranur Revenue Village is a channel.

3. We direct the second respondent to take effective action so that the encroachments are cleared. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents shall put all the encroachers on notice and adhere to due process of law before taking action. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
