ORDER
This petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to fencing the land in S.F.No.168 of Virupatchi Village, Oddanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, and to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2026 and complete the enquiry and pass order in accordance with law.
2.The Tahsildar, Oddanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, is suo motu impleaded as third respondent in this petition. 3.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.168, 170, 171 sub divided into 171/1A, 171/1B, 171/2 and 171/3B for which, he has also submitted the Adangal Kanakku, where it is seen 2/5
that the petitioner's name is entered in the same. The patta also stands in the name of the petitioner. Now, there is a canal in S.No.169, located between the petitioner's land. Hence, the petitioner seeks to fence the land in S.No.168 alone.
4.Therefore, the Tahsildar of Oddanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, shall ensure that the petitioner fences only the land in S.No.168 and not fence the land in S.No.169. If the Tahsildar, Oddanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, seeks police protection, the respondent shall provide police protection at the time of fencing. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
